Good Fortune — The first venture from newly formed hospitality collective Out To Lunch, led by critically acclaimed Chicago chef Charles Welch (Honey’s, Sepia, mk) and Creative Director Andrew Miller (Honey’s, Fine Diving), Good Fortune is going to be an elegant, contemporary American restaurant with an emphasis on sustainable practices set in Logan Square. With a wood-burning oven as the beating heart of the restaurant, the menu will showcase wood-fired meats, vegetables, bread and anything else that is deserving of a smoke bath. Aside from wood-fired fare, the GF menu will have a beautiful handmade pasta program and raw bar offerings. The bar program, led by bar director Miranda Breedlove (Bad Hunter, Sportsmans club, The Broken Shaker), is composed of modern interpretations of classic cocktails using limited and thoughtful ingredients, with a focus on complimenting Chef Welch’s menu.
